Age of Hinduism (03)...

For a very long time before one starts his daily rituals and affirmation termed as Sankalpa is made, this sankalpa has all the arithematic reference of the present age as on the given date. Which goes like this:

mahavishnuragnaya pravarthamanyasya adya brahmana dwitheeya parardhe Swetha varaha kalpe Vaivasvatha manvanthare kaliyuge dhasri maha me pade jamboo dweepe Bharatha Varshe Bharatha Khande Meroh dakshina dikbhage srisailasya vayave bhage krishna godavari madhya deseasmin varthamana vyawaharika chandramanena prabhavadi sasti samvatsaranamadhye virodhi Naama Samvathsare uttarayane greeshma ruthow jyesta mase bahula pakshe dwaadasyaam thidhow mandaavasare............(As on 20.06.2009).

As on today of Kaliyuga 5,111 years have passed and we are in the present Brahma's age of 51 years 4 months 16 days and so on.

We are in Swethavaraaha Kalpa which has started some 20 million years back. This calculation has been confirmed by Geologists, who
visited Tirupathi and saw the Silaa Thoranam over there and predicted it as 20 million years old.

It is in the great epics that the Bhoovaraahaswami whose shrine is to the left side of the Srivaari Sannidhaanam and on the bank of the Srivaari Pushkarini has entered into this shrine from heaven through this Silaa Thoranam.
