How old is Hinduism?



How to calculate the age of Hinduism?

Hinduism has a cosmic calender consisting of four chapters. That is Krutha Yuga, Threthaa Yuga, Dwaapara Yuga and Kali Yuga. Each of these yugas have a fixed period of consisting years, that comes to:

1. Krutha Yuga - 17,28,000 Years
2. Threthaa Yuga - 12,96,000 Years
3. Dwaapara Yuga - 08,64,000 Years
4. Kali Yuga - 04,32,000 Years

Sums Up to - 43,20,000 Years, to be considered as one Maha yuga.

27 such Maha yugas are considered as one Manvanthara.

14 such Manvantharas are considered as one day and another 14 Manvantharas as one night for the creator lord Brahma. Who's whole time age is 108 years.
